Assalamualaikum everyone~!
Can't believe it's 2012 already! I don't actually feel that it's 2012 because I work during eve on new year and new year day itself. Have to work mah.. double the pay!
Well, reflect on 2011.. Been a great great year. Treat my dad and sis to holiday in Batam. That's our first overseas holiday since a decade! Bought my mum an expensive birthday gift ever...Her bling2 jewellery. My family don't really practice celebrating birthday - but to get my mum this gift, felt that it was my greatest achievement so far. Abang met with a lot of accidents last year - had 3cm of its tail chop off and he fell from our 2nd storey house again! Of course, Abang survive that fall without any injury at all. It's true that they say cats have 9 lives! As Abang gets older, he gets more selenger but more manja!! As for Putri, she's getting slimmer.. ahem2! On diet la konon.. but she remain cute like Puss on the Boots. When you look into her big round pretty eyes, you will be mesmerize..hahahah...! Well, they both turn 5.5 years as of Dec 2011. Work has been fun.. being promoted as an assistant leader was my greatest achievement so far in my career life. Been also a great year for me and Irwan. We were engaged and our relationship has been smooth ride so far. I can't think of any major argument. You know, as relationship gets older.. You just have no time to create relationship drama.
As for this year, we are planning to buy a BTO flat which is just across my house! Haha.. Can't believe that we will be staying near..in fact too near to my parent's house. We actually did not plan to buy a house at all because we plan to live at Irwan parent's house but when I saw the old camp buildings were demolish, I knew HDB will bulid lotsa flats there. I really really.. pray hard that we will get that flat.. It's convenience.. just across the road, there's primary school. Opposite it's there's Sunshine Place and wet market is just one bus stop away. A walking distance from the flat, it's a Government High school. And lotsa child care center. With my family just one stone away, I can still stay in touch with them.. especially my cats! Being the youngest and probably the first one to get married (Amin..), family is my top priority - my sisters are like my friends and my cats are my companion. Irwan does not allow any single pet in the house but living with pets since a tender age of 6, how could I not live with these creatures? So still having to see Abang & Putri after settling down, it is such a blessing. Well, right now.. have to work hard to save more $ to settle down. Probably end of next year.. insyaAllah. At 25 next year, it will be the right time for me and Irwan who is 4 years my senior.
As for working life, I may not plan to change job because I like the working environment, have great colleagues, the job prospect suits my personality and I love working shift hour job because the feeling when I'm off on weekdays is different than going out on weekends. I never like to go out on weekends - the mall and rides are so packed! However, this job does not have great benefits - especially bonus. I need it - so that I can save faster. Will see..
Overall, 2011 was an awesome year..alhamdulillah. And hopefully same goes for this year. InsyaAllah.. amin!

I'm glad to announce that Irwan is no longer my boyfriend...but my fiance!
19 Nov 2011 was our 5th annivesary and what a perfect way to celebrate it by getting engaged on that day itself!
I was proposed 5 months before the day but I was kinda last minute in preparing. 2 weeks before the day, I just started to prepare the gubahan & berkat. All was made by myself (of course with the help of my sis):

Phew..! It took me sleepless night to complete this gubahan but it was all worth it! I never did gubahan before and my mum keep pestering me to get someone to do it but I insisted. Hopefully, when I get married and not working, I may wish to open online business to do it for gubahan.. InsyaAllah!
I thought I will be giving at least 8-9 hadiah, but turn out to be 15 in total (including the one given by my aunt).
As for the berkat, I want it to be simple but creative. I want it to be something that can be use in daily basis and eaten. After doing my homework online, I came across this youtube video on Towel Cupcake Tutorial. I've made over 100 of these!And these are from the tunang:
We had an awesome day on 19 Nov. I was nervous but anxious to see my fiance. We never thought to came this far. Now, planning for marriage and saving, saving, saving!

Make up and dress is by Klaseboer Bride's Mode.People said that engagement period will be most challenging part of relationship before marriage. I pray that we will make it through. Happy Ramadhan everyone! Although I know it's a bit too late as Hari Raya is just around the corner. Hehe...
Well, it's been months since I last update this blog. Everytime I plan to write something, I tend to delete it off because don't have time to complete it! -_- Nevertheless, I will never ever abondon this blog - I've used this URL since 2004 and has never changed it.
It's the first time that my birthday falls on the holy month and this is the 5th time I celebrate it with Irwan. We supposed to breakfast at Fish & Co. @ Changi Airport but was shocked that it is closed for renovation, as Irwan had book it 5 days earlier.. Argh! Thus, we had to proceed our breakfast at Breeks nearby.
I wouldn't make this a lengthy post, let the photos below do the talking...
Today, 19 Aug 2011 is our 4 years 9 months anniversary! I couldn't be much happier because... it will be exactly.....
Yup, yup! We will getting engaged on our 5th Anniversary! I know that I used to say, what's the point of engaged as it's no difference from being in a relationship. But to engage in our anniversary, that feeling is different! Like a membership 'upgrade' ! Haha..
His family masuk meminang way earlier. It's was on his 27th birthday (see? prefect time right?). Received cincin janji that was given by his mother. This ring was worn by his late grandmother. I had to place it in the middle was it will slid off easily from other fingers.
Insya-Allah will be getting married soon, but not so soon. Hehe..
My schedule will be packed right after raya to prepare for engagement. (;
Alhamdulliah, I have found the best man in my life.
